Meet Oreo! She is one-year-old mixed breed. Like the name, Oreo is black with a white face and weighs about 48 pounds. She has been at The Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter for more than six weeks, and shelter workers can’t figure out why! They say she is the total package! She’s not too wild and not too lazy. Oreo loves to explore, play a little, and then she’s all snuggles. Oreo is gentle, affectionate, and the ultimate cuddle connoisseur. She walks well on a leash, is well-mannered, and gets along with other dogs. Come meet Oreo and let her show you her big beautiful smile!
Oreo’s adoption fee is $100 which covers her spay, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. Operation hours are as follows: closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except for scheduled surgery appointments; open Wednesday through Saturday from noon until 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from noon until 4:00 p.m. Intakes are Wednesdays through Fridays from noon till four. The Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is located at 1888 Colbert-Danielsville Road in Danielsville, Georgia. Their number is 706-795-2868.
The Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is also in need of donations. You can go to https://www.moaspets.com/donate. Since they are a 501c3 non-profit, your donations are tax deductible. Animal supplies such as food are also welcome. And while you’re at it, ask them about volunteer and fostering opportunities.
