The Pet of the Week!
Meet Echo! Echo is a one-year-old Sharpei/Lab mix. She weighs a little more than 44 pounds. Workers at The Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter describe Echo as sweet, quiet, and gentle. She can be a little nervous at times and has been known to cower with sudden movements. Otherwise, her demeaner is great! She gets along with other dogs. Echo is a snuggly creature and LOVES kisses!
Echo is heartworm positive, so she will need to be fostered during her treatment, which The Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter will provide. She can be adopted by her foster parent afterwards if desired, but the shelter says they desperately need to get her on treatment soon. So they are asking for a foster home to step up.
Echo’s adoption fee is $100 which covers her spay, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. Operation hours are as follows: closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except for scheduled surgery appointments; open Wednesday through Saturday from noon until 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from noon until 4:00 p.m. Intakes are Wednesdays through Fridays from noon till four.
