11/28/25 – The Pet of the Week: Cappuccino

The Pet of the Week!

Meet Cappuccino!  Shelter workers at The Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter say this senior Siamese kitty as their funny little bowling ball with legs.  She’s a 10-year-old queen who knows exactly what she wants in life: naps and to be your one and only kitty.  Weighing in at 12 lbs., Cappuccino is an independent soul who’s happiest snoozing the day away in a quiet home where she can relax in peace.

She’s FIV + but completely asymptomatic…living her life just like any other kitty, only with a little extra charm.  Her favorite thing in the world?  Being petted, especially on her back because if you scratch her butt, she gives you a tiny, polite lick as a “thank you.”  It’s her signature move, and staff works love making her do it!

If you’re looking for a calm and affectionate companion who’s equal parts cozy and quirky, then this sweet girl might be your perfect match.

Cappuccino’s adoption fee is $50 for the next couple of weeks.  That fee covers her spay, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines.  If you would like to fill out an adoption application for Cappuccino or one of the other dogs or cats at The Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter, click on the adoption tab at www.moaspets.com.  Or better yet, just stop by to meet her!
