Meet Batley! Batley is a one-year-old Staffordshire Terrier. Shelter workers at The Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter describe her as a gentle and easygoing dog who is simply looking for a soft place to land. At 35 pounds, she is the perfect size for a couch companion, which is her favorite place to be! Batley has a calm, quiet nature and a sweetness that shines through in everything she does. Batley loves the simple things in life: a warm patch of sunshine, a good meal, and someone to share her space with. She’s not demanding or high-energy, just happy to be near you, soaking up love and giving it right back.

Batley’s adoption fee is $100, which covers her age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, spay, microchip, and adoption packet. Operation hours are as follows: closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except for scheduled surgery appointments; open Wednesday through Saturday from noon until 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from noon until 4:00 p.m. Intakes are Wednesdays through Fridays from noon till four.
