5/1/26 – The Pet of the Week: Boscoe

The Pet of the Week!

Meet your new best friend. . .Boscoe!  Workers at The Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter describe this handsome 9-month-old Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix as a fun-loving young pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart.  With his sleek black coat and playful spirit, Boscoe is sure to turn heads wherever he goes!

He’s great with kids and already crate trained, which gives him a fantastic head start in his new home.  Since he’s a young dog, he’s still full of youthful energy and loves to play, explore, and be part of the action.  Boscoe is the kind of dog who will happily join you for adventures and then settle down to relax by your side.

He would do best as the only pet or with carefully selected dog friends, as he can be a bit selective with other dogs.  A home without cats or chickens is a must for him.  With the right environment and continued guidance, Boscoe will thrive and become an incredibly loyal companion.

If you’re looking for a smart, active, and fun pup to grow with your family, this sweet boy is ready to meet you and start his next chapter!

Boscoe’s adoption fee is $100, which covers his age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, neuter, microchip, and adoption packet.  If you would like to learn more about Boscoe or any of the other available dogs or cats at the Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter, fill out an adoption application online.  You can do so by clicking on the adoption tab at www.moaspets.com.  Or better yet, just stop by to meet her!
