Meet Buck! Buck is a handsome Red Heeler with a heart overflowing with love. While his breed is known for being intelligent, loyal, and hardworking, Buck’s favorite thing in the world isn’t herding or staying busy; it’s simply being with his people. If he had it his way, he’d spend every day curled up beside you, soaking up belly rubs, ear scratches, and as many cuddles as you can give.
Buck is the definition of a gentle, affectionate companion. He’ll happily lean his whole body against you just to feel close, rest his head in your lap, or quietly snuggle beside you on the couch after a long day. He doesn’t care what you’re doing. As long as he’s with you, he’s content. Buck’s loving eyes seem to say, “Thank you for letting me be here,” and his tail never stops wagging when he’s around the people he loves.
Buck’s the kind of dog who follows you from room to room, not because he has to, but because in your company is his favorite place to be. Whether you’re making dinner, folding laundry, or relaxing with a good book, Buck will be nearby, ready to offer comfort, companionship, and unconditional love. He has a calm, sweet nature that makes him an incredible best friend for anyone looking for a loyal shadow.

Buck is about one-year-old and weighs about 43 pounds. His adoption fee is $100, which covers his age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Operation hours are as follows: closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except for scheduled surgery appointments; open Wednesday through Saturday from noon until 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from noon until 4:00 p.m. Intakes are Wednesdays through Fridays from noon till four.
