The Pet of the Week!
Meet Phoenix, the perfect kind of feisty! She is a one-year-old, 36-pound Labrador mix, and the staff at the Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter say they just love her! She’s a perfectly petite little lady, with a fun kind of energy…not too much but not a couch potato either. Phoenix would do well in either a high-energy or a low-energy environment. She goes with the flow. Phoenix is good with other dogs and seems to be housebroken. She is the epitome of JOY in a smallish pup body. Come meet this sweetheart of a girl, and she’ll ease her way right into your home and your life!
Phoenix’s adoption fee is $100 which covers her spay, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. Operation hours are as follows: closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except for scheduled surgery appointments; open Wednesday through Saturday from noon until 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from noon until 4:00 p.m. Intakes are Wednesdays through Fridays from noon till four. Animal supplies such as food are also welcome. And while you’re at it, ask them about volunteer and fostering opportunities.
